Cabanas Awarded Three 2022 “Best” Categories by South Florida Gay News Readers!
This year marks the 9th year in a row that the readers of SFGN voted us Best Gay Guesthouse and Best Men’s Day Spa Cabanas Guesthouse. For the first time, Spa Cabanas was awarded the category of Best Massage Therapist.

Carlos Blanco is proud to be a…Bear! We’re not sure if that helps his massage techniques but he’s our best massage therapist for 2022.
Carlos has been with the Spa for almost a year and is trained in both Eastern and Western modalities of massage. He specializes in Deep Tissue Massage, CBD Oil Massage, Acupressure Massage, Tui Na, Gua Sha, and Hot Modalities (Hot Stone Massage). He also is one of the few massage therapists who does “Fire Cupping”, an ancient form of alternative massage treatment that uses special cups placed on the skin to encourage blood flow to enhance circulation.
Carlos is 35, an Army Veteran, and has a self-described “great beard”. SFGN independently verified the beard and it’s true. Blanco is also in school training to be a Doctor of Oriental Medicine.
